After months of court time, Chelsea finally managed to get Adam to agree to changing Aubree’s name… but it wasn’t without Adam putting up a fight.
In a Teen Mom 2 scene, she revealed to her father Randy that Adam “will be willing to agree to the name change if [we] eliminate child support, adjust child support, or take into consideration [Cole’s] income. Obviously he’s fine with doing it, but he’s trying to [get something out of it.] Why would we eliminate child support to hyphenate her last name?” She revealed that Adam wanted to eliminate close to $10,000 of back child support he still owes her in addition to future child support.
On Kailyn’s podcast, she revealed luckily Adam eventually agreed to the name change without too much fuss.
Kailyn’s co-star Lindsie opened up that she was also a child of a blended family, and her step-mother ended up legally adopting her.
