Javi’s career has been a hot topic on the show in the past. He currently serves in the Air Force and the threat of his deployments has loomed over Briana and Kailyn in the latest season. He was deported to Qatar during his marriage to Kailyn and the couple separated while he was serving overseas. In January, he tweeted “I take pride in my job and everything I work for and accomplish.” However, last week, he told a fan on Twitter, “Unfortunately my time is soon coming to an end so I will be transitioning out and look forward to a new career.” He continued, “I could re-enlist right now if I wanted to, but my family is more important…re-enlisting would mean orders. Orders away from my son. So UNFORTUNATELY I’ll get out when my contract expires.” He has suggested that he may shift careers to work as an “analyst.”
