Amber more than likely was inspired to go to rehab by her sister-in-law. Catelynn has been very open about her struggles with her mental health.
In November of 2017, Catelynn checked herself into a rehabilitation program to seek intensive therapy for her anxiety and depression, tweeting, “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself .. so I’m going to treatment.”
She gave more details to Radar Online, saying, “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself.”

Catelynn explained, “[On November 17th], I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.” Despite her difficulties, Catelynn is maintaining a positive attitude. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better,” she said. “This won’t last forever.”
Tyler took to Twitter to show his support for his wife. He wrote, “Incredibly proud of my wife…when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out & decided to LIVE today! My life would be desolate without her in it. You are beautiful, strong, worthy, & loved.”
It was later revealed that she sought treatment because of the miscarriage she suffered while carrying her third child with Tyler. Tyler told a producer, Kerthy, of the miscarriage, “It was very traumatic…her shaking and she’s got blood everywhere.”
